Visits Tambuwal after EFCC release, praises his resilience; Atiku says, “He’s unbroken.”

Atiku Abubakar, the former vice president, paid a call to Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, the former governor of Sokoto State, at his Abuja house on Monday.

This visit was reportedly prompted by Tambuwal’s recent release from the EFCC’s detention, according to XANDERTECH.

Former House Speaker and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain Tambuwal was apprehended by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for alleged financial misconduct while serving as governor of Sokoto.

Reactions to his detention and interrogation have been varied across the nation, with some party members, notably those from the African Democratic Congress (ADC), claiming that it is politically driven.

“I visited Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal at his residence in Abuja earlier today,” Atiku wrote on X, expressing his relief over Tambuwal’s health. Witnessing his unbreakable and unyielding spirit brings me joy.
