Folarin Odunlami, better known by his stage name Fola, is an Afrobeats musician who has spoken publicly about his arrest and subsequent overnight detention the day before he moved to Lagos to pursue music as a profession.
This event, according to the “Alone” singer, nearly caused him to give up on his aspirations and demoralise him.
Fola said that he has been able to adjust to the hectic lifestyle of Lagos thanks to his perseverance in a recent interview with The Beat 99.9 FM Lagos.
