I lied about my fake name; it doesn’t mean anything. – Nasty C

David Junior Ngcobo, better known as Nasty C, a famous South African rapper, has said that he wants to change his stage name.

The singer of “Coolest Kid In Africa” told Madame Joyce in a frank interview in London that his stage name doesn’t mean anything; he just put letters together.

He also said he was lying when he said that his stage name came from his first manager calling him “Nasty Cat.” He made it clear that he only wanted to make up a story about the name.

“Where does the name Nasty C come from?” asked Madame Joyce.

Nasty C: “It’s strange.” It would just put letters together, and I would start making words out of them. That one was the one I chose. There’s something I don’t know about the name or what it stands for.

“I used to tell people a story.” The first person to record me knew my big brother well. He was recording and I was meant to go next. He was telling the guy he just recorded, “Hey, there’s this kid blabla.” He’s really cool. He’s a Bad Cat. Then I took the “AT” out of Cat to make “Nasty C.”

“But it’s not true.” I only wanted to tell that guy’s name and tell you a story because he really helped me start my business. My stage name is vibe. Now I want to change it.
