FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has rebuked those who criticise President Bola Tinubu, asserting that they are fortunate to have a leader who upholds the rule of law.
On Thursday, Wike made this statement during the flag-off of the construction of Arterial Road N1, which connects Wuye District to Ring Road II in Abuja.
The minister expressed disapproval of the culture of “abusing the President with impunity” on social media.

“This is a nation in which an individual on social media will declare that the President is a criminal; however, no action will be taken.” You are fortunate to have a President who is committed to the rule of law. Continue to be fortunate. The minister stated, “There are individuals you will encounter with whom you will not have the opportunity to interact again.”
The former governor of Rivers State addressed the grievances of resident physicians who recently threatened protests due to unpaid allowances and inadequate attention to health infrastructure. He emphasised that demonstrations are a component of democracy but cautioned against blackmailing the government.
