Oladips said during his interview on Hip TV that he was locked up for not paying taxes. Investigations showed that he is not a fraudster.
“EFCC came into my estate on a typical night, and that’s when Nigeria happened to me. I mean, it’s a large estate, and they were simply going from one house to the next to arrest individuals. I was in my house. It was around three in the morning.
“I saw it inside the estate group where EFCC was.” I swear I was in bed pressing my phone because it wasn’t my business. I didn’t go away since I don’t do fraud and I don’t use Yahoo. Na individual wey do fraud go dey run.
“The next thing I knew, they busted down my kitchen door and came into my house to ask for my phone and laptop. I only have two phones and no laptop. So they took my phones, looked into it, and found out that I don’t commit fraud. When they can’t find anything to keep me down, one of their bosses came out and asked if I pay taxes. He said, “That’s how they put me in jail for not paying taxes.”
