An inquiry into the violent incident that occurred at a political gathering purportedly hosted by Malam Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna state, has been initiated by the command of the state’s police.
On Saturday, a group of young people in Kaduna reportedly disrupted the inauguration of the ADC Transition Committee with clubs, stones, and machetes. They allegedly caused damage to automobiles and injured other people at the venue.
According to SP Mansir Hassan, the public relations officer of the command, the occurrence was confirmed, and the rally was planned without involving the police or other security services.

He claims that preliminary investigations established that the violence had its roots in a quarrel amongst political supporters.
The state’s ADC party leadership has spoken out in favour of keeping the peace and denies knowing about the political demonstration.
