Stanley Nwabali, the custodian for the Super Eagles, has threatened to beat up Kehinde Adams, also known as Lege Miami, a social media star, for remarks he made about his deceased father.
Following Nigeria’s failure to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Lege Miami lambasted a number of players on the national squad.
He spared severe condemnation for others, even though he singled out individuals like Calvin Bassey, Benjamin Fredrick, and Victor Osimhen. Nwabali was one among them, even though the Chippa United goalie saved two penalty kicks in the shootout.

The goalie reacted angrily to the remarks, which made reference to Nwabali’s late father, whose funeral he had just attended.
“Lege Miami, if you are creating your content, please take my late dad’s name off your lips,” Nwabali wrote on his Instagram story as a warning to the video creator.
“You should respect the deceased if you don’t learn to respect people’s fathers.”
“I’m not your typical football player. I’ll give you a brutal beating. You’re allowed to criticise me, but take my late dad’s name from your mouth.”
