“Improved security across the country.” He said with conviction when asked what Nigerians may anticipate in the upcoming weeks.
The results of his operational tour to the Northeast theatre of operations and updates on the overall security situation were included in his briefing to the president, he said.
The army chief further stated that the situation was satisfactory throughout the reviewed period, which was due to the continued pressure on criminal networks and improved cooperation among security services.
He informed him that he had come to apprise him of the results of his visit to the Northeast region and to examine other security issues nationwide, which had been satisfactory during that time.
