Major General Muhammadu Sani Sami (rtd.), who was 81 years old, has passed away. He was the Emir of Zuru in the state of Kebbi.
In a statement issued on Sunday in Birnin Kebbi, Alhaji Garba Umar-Dutsinmari, the Kebbi State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, announced the monarch’s demise.
Saturday night, following a protracted illness, Sani Sami passed away in a London hospital.
