Rivers are the only source of serenity — After Tinubu reinstated Fubara, Wike praised him.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has restored democratic administration to Rivers State by abolishing the emergency rule, and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike has congratulated Tinubu for the move.

The minister praised the president, saying that he has shown his unwavering dedication to maintaining peace and democracy in the nation. He also mentioned that the president’s proactive measures saved the state.

According to a statement released on Wednesday by Lere Olayinka, the FCT Minister’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, the President’s intervention has helped restore faith in his leadership among the people of Rivers State.

The President’s unwavering belief in and support from the state’s citizens, he said, has allowed him to put the nation back on the road to development and success.

In his state of the state address, Wike urged all parties involved to put aside their differences and cooperate for the benefit of the people and the state.

“From Rivers State going forward, the only news that will emanate will be that of peace, progress and development,” the minister added, sternly warning troublemakers—particularly fifth columnists who were hoping to profit from the crisis—to remain out of the state.
