Namadi’s Aide Another boon for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election campaign, according to Mr. Garba Muhammad Al-Hadejawi, Senior Special Assistant on New Media to JIgawa State Governor, Umar Namadi, is the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) position to zone its 2027 presidential ticket to the South.
In response to the PDP’s choice to allocate its presidential ticket to the southern region of the state, he made this statement on his official Facebook page.
The choice, according to Al-Hadejawi, creates “another chance for Tinubu to go again come 2027,” and it also allows Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, a chance to shine.

“It is an opportunity for the mighty Wike… and a clear road for Tinubu to go again come 2027,” he added, laughing as he ended the message.
His remarks came after the PDP’s 102nd NEC meeting in Abuja on Monday approved the recommendations of its Zoning Committee, which was headed by Douye Diri, the governor of Bayelsa State.
Debo Ologunagba, the PDP National Publicity Secretary, reportedly told XANDERTECH that the party’s presidential ticket would be zoned to the South, but that the zoning arrangement from the National Working Committee would be kept for the November elective convention.
The “unwavering commitment to democracy, the defence of citizens’ interest and well-being, and the ongoing repositioning of the party to reclaim power in 2027” were further reaffirmed by Ologunagba as aspects of the PDP’s promise to Nigerians.
