John Terry assesses Chelsea’s chances of winning the title because they have been erratic.

John Terry, a Chelsea icon, has evaluated the Blues’ chances of winning the Premier League this season.

Despite Chelsea’s inconsistent play in a number of games this season, Terry still thinks the team can contend for the English Premier League title.

With 20 points from 11 games, Chelsea is presently ranked third in the Premier League standings. Last season, Enzo Maresca’s team came in fourth.

Terry responded, “Look, I have always believed we are title contenders, unless we are no longer in the running [completely out of contention],” when asked if Chelsea is one of this season’s title contenders on a talkSPORT television program.

Arsenal has a number of difficult games coming up, including trips to play Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, but Chelsea needs to prioritise their own pressing issues first.

Chelsea has been erratic in a few games this season, but I believe that this is a normal aspect of a young team’s development, and eventually we will undoubtedly go closer to the championship competition.
