Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, a senator from Zamfara West and a former governor of Zamfara State, has predicted that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will seize control of the state in the year 2027.

The APC is too powerful and relevant on a national level to be considered an opposition party in Zamfara, according to Yari, who made the statement while speaking to party stakeholders at his home in Talata Mafara on Saturday.

The purpose of our visit is to reassert the APC’s position as Nigeria’s leading party and inspire members to have faith in one another. Zamfara State will be under our leadership again by 2027. “We can’t keep being referred to as the opposition,” Yari stated.

During his speech, Umar Tukur Danfulani, the state APC chairman, emphasised the importance of party unity and the dedication of party members to the success of the party in the upcoming general elections.

There were thousands of party faithful in attendance at the meeting, and they all came to reiterate their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC leadership in the state.

Honourable Abdulmalik Zannan-Bungudu, Bello Matawalle, Senator Sahabi Ya’u (Zamfara North), Hon. Sulaiman Abubakar Gumi, and former deputy governors Ibrahim Wakala, Muktar Ahmed Anka, and Hassan Muhammad Nasiha were among the notable individuals in attendance.
