Omoyele Sowore, an activist, and other others detained at Monday’s #FreeeNnamdiKanuNow demonstration have been granted bail by an Abuja magistrate court.

Among those released on bail were Prince Emmanuel, the brother of Nnamdi Kanu, and Aloy Ejimakor, a lawyer for the IPOB leader.

Shortly after leaving the Federal High Court’s Abuja grounds on Thursday, Sowore was taken into custody by police.

For spearheading the #FreeNnamdiKanu demonstration, the activist was taken into custody.

Ejimakor, Kanu’s brother, and eleven other people were placed under remand by the court on Tuesday for “inciting public disturbance” during the demonstration.
