Alia is over the level of kidnapping, according to the advisor to the governor of Benue on VDM’s accusations

In response to accusations made by social media activist and critic Martin Vincent Otse, better known by his handle VeryDarkMan, VDM, Atu Terver—the primary special assistant on youth and media mobilisation to Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia—has spoken out.

In a Facebook video that went live on Friday, VDM claimed that a vehicle dealer went missing following a N1.2 billion contract with the government of Benue.

The critic asserts that the Benue government allegedly paid the suspected missing dealer N1.2 billion for nine automobiles but never received payment.

Attention, Benue State executive governor: It appears that the auto dealer to whom your administration is due 1.2 billion naira for nine vehicles that your administration seized has vanished.

During our previous conversation, he informed me that he was summoned to a meeting at a hotel in Abuja by one of your cabinet members.

Please release him from your care, Reverend Fr. Alia. This video became viral, and VDM captioned it with “What is his crime?” on his Facebook page.

After reading the post, Atu—real name: Krayzeetee—commented that the governor would never “stoop as low as abducting someone” and refuted the accusation of kidnapping.

Lots of things don’t add up, but it’s dragging out a governor, so I guess most people won’t agree with me, he wrote.

“You mentioned that he was contacted by a cabinet member, but whose name is on the document?” And what about the phone number he dialled?

Someone else in the government was advising him to pay up, and you didn’t even name names the other day.

The Berekete family’s Ahmed Isah is a great teacher, in my opinion. He would have tried to get in touch with the governor if somebody had told him about this instance, but he chose not to. Everything is fine with me as long as it generates traffic and leads many to criticise the governor.
