“We talked about how to improve cooperation between the Federal Government and Enugu State in order to provide our people with more prosperity.

Mbah stated that Enugu is still totally dedicated to contributing to the creation of a more powerful, cohesive, and affluent Nigeria.

According to XANDERTECH Mbah formally left the PDP for the APC on October 14 at a press conference in the state capital of Enugu.

The governor claims that his dedication to furthering Enugu’s interests and coordinating the state’s development agenda with federal government objectives was the primary factor in his choice to join the ruling party.

“A strategic move for visionary partnership that would bring transformative change” to Enugu State and the country, he said of his defection.

Mbah stated that the decision was not made lightly and that it was required to better serve the people of Enugu and guarantee inclusive development under the APC-led Federal Government. He was joined by state and federal lawmakers as well as his predecessor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.
