Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s candidature for president of Nigeria has been rejected by Oba Rilwan Akiolu, Oba of Lagos.
Atiku, who has been seeking the presidency of Nigeria since 1992, does not have the favour of fate, according to Akiolu.
As part of celebrations marking his 22nd year as monarch, the king revealed this information when meeting with journalists at his Iga Iduganran Palace.

The speaker pleaded on Nigerians to back Tinubu so that the latter might realise his goals for the nation.
God owns the future. But I’ll tell you straight up: Atiku Abubakar, the former vice president of Nigeria, has no business being the country’s president.

“In order for Nigeria and Lagos to accomplish God’s plan, he needs the support of his people.”
