Reacting to Yemi Solade’s apology for slapping him on set, Afeez Owo

Afeez Owo, a well-known producer in Nollywood, has responded to actor Yemi Solade’s public apology.

According to XANDERTECH, Solade publicly apologised to Afeez Owo for slapping him on set during an interview.
Solade expressed his apologies and clarified that he has also spoken to other of their coworkers about the issue.

Afeez described Solade as his older brother and accepted the apologies during a recent interview on the African A-List program.

His apology helped me move forward from the situation. Like when an older brother hits a little sibling, he is not responsible even if he doesn’t say sorry. The younger brother will still be expected to apologise to their older sibling, regardless of who is at fault.

At the time, he was an actor, and I was in charge of production. I am responsible for ensuring the safety of the performers and crew members in my role as production manager.

Uncle Solade slapped me because he was hungry, even though I had asked everyone to tell me what they needed before we left the Ibadan location and went to a Fulani resettlements region.
