The Cranes are in a tough group with Nigeria, Tunisia, and Tanzania, all of which are formidable opponents.

Two teams that are commonly considered favourites to win their group are the Super Eagles and the Carthage Eagles.

Docho, on the other hand, is certain that Uganda can compete with the best of them.

This is not a simple group. All of these countries are ambitious and want to be at the top. But we are also aware of our strengths and weaknesses,” Aucho said, as cited by CAFonline.

This will be Uganda’s seventh AFCON involvement; they finished second in 1978. The tournament will be held in Morocco.

On December 21, the tournament is expected to begin.
