Zamfara State’s All Progressives Congress (APC) has taken exception to Governor Dauda Lawal’s what it sees as an overwhelming amount of statements regarding the security situation in the state.
Yusuf Idris, the APC state spokesperson for Zamfara, condemned the governor’s remarks as regrettable and inappropriate in a statement he released in Gusau on Thursday.
Regrettably, the state’s governor and chief security officer has claimed to know the whereabouts of every kingpin and gang of bandits in the state.

The governor flat-out refused to provide the intelligence agencies battling the bandits around the clock with a report.
According to Idris, the APC is perplexed as to why the governor keeps ignoring the problem of insecurity, allowing bandits to carry out their killings and kidnappings of innocent residents.
If granted complete control of the security agencies, Governor Lawal had promised that insecurity in the state will be a thing of the past within two months, according to XANDERTCH.
He asserted that he could use his cell phone to reveal the whereabouts of a bandit commander.
State APC members reacted by saying the governor had once again shown that he was involved with the bandits terrorising the state.
Additionally, it voiced concerns regarding the governor’s failure to seek collaboration from the federal government in its endeavour to rid the state of bandits.
